During your vacation stay, you’ll have the entire barn home to yourself. L3nee’s Lay-Up (pronounced La Nay) is a unique cabin featuring a half-court-covered indoor/outdoor 10-foot basketball hoop. This unique cabin building also features 2 shipping containers with private bedrooms (queen-sized) and private bathrooms. A vaulted family and dining area with a full kitchen and gas fireplace for a cozy stay. All windows have privacy blind if needed.
The shipping container house has a covered outdoor dining space, hot tub, and two swings. There is a firepit with comfortable chairs with firewood provided. The owners designed and created L3nee’s Lay-Up for a small group of 4 or less. Their goal was to create a space to relax and unwind from everyone’s busy life and for the avid basketball fan. They do not allow bachelorette/bachelor parties or weddings, or pets. The barn style house has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The barn style house has a back patio with a hot tub perfect for use after a long day of hiking, an outdoor fire pit for cozy fires, and a grill for evening cookouts. two swings, a dining table, and chairs, and two small rocking chairs. The interior of the barn style house consists of two shipping containers that are completely custom with modern white painted walls. The living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms are separated by 4 pocket doors. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a connecting full bathroom. There is a fully stocked modern kitchen. The design features a vaulted ceiling in the great room and dining area. The living space has a cozy gas fireplace. WiFi for Netflix, smart TVs in both bedrooms, and the great room.
Amenities at the shipping container house include a kitchen with pots, pans, cookie sheets, baking sheets, pizza pan, electric griddle, mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, serving bowls, wine glasses, coffee pot (Keurig), pitcher, silverware, serving utensils, cooking apron, and so much more. There is also sugar, creamers, honey, true lemon, hot sauce, ketchup packets, mustard packets, mayonnaise packets, salt and pepper packets, olive oil, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot apple cider spray olive oil, kitchen towels, and washcloths.
The bathrooms have toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, razor, makeup remover cloths, Q-tips, shower cap, bath mats, hairdryer, toothpaste, and towels. The bedrooms have sheets, blankets, bedspreads, pillows, televisions, and a dresser in each bedroom. The living room has a television, fireplace, couch, two chairs, coffee table, family games, kids games, and kids toys.
Outside there is covered seating, a hot tub, hot tub towels, a grill with propane provided and all the utensils, a fire pit with two bundles of wood and fire starters, lighters, hot dogs, and marshmallow sticks. The shipping container home is only one hour from Columbus, Ohio, and 39 minutes from Athens, Ohio.
