Take a look inside the Hansel Creek Cabin located in Peshastin, Washington, United States. The cozy cabin can sleep up to 4 guests with 1 bedroom, and 1 bath. Escape into the woods next to Hansel Creek, just 15 minutes from Leavenworth, and within walking distance to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness trailhead. This historic gem sits on pristine Hansel Creek. Beautifully restored from the original 1930s cabin, the loft cabin displays timber-frame craftsmanship and custom details. Enjoy Hansel Creek’s beauty and serenity just outside the cabin. After the sun disappears behind the mountains you can enjoy gazing at the stars. No pets are allowed at the cabin. The Hansel Creek Loft Cabin is restored from salvaged timber off of the property. The Cabin is rustic yet very comfortable. There is a queen-size memory foam bed in the loft, and downstairs can accommodate 2 more guests on a super comfortable air mattress.
The cabin is equipped with a BBQ, hot and cold running water, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, silverware plates, glasses, bottle opener, and coffee mugs. The cabin also has heat and air conditioning. There is Leavenworth local art, hand-crafted log furniture, and wood accents, also from the property which adorns the space. Enjoy locally roasted coffee and tea by Hansel Creek or by the fire pit (only available when conditions permit normally not in late summer) the owners supply the fire pit with organic locally sourced firewood. This cabin shares a heated indoor shower with hot water and bathroom in a separate building about 75 feet from the cabin and a seasonal outdoor shower which is closed from October through April due to freezing temperatures.

You won’t want to forget to bring snow shoes, skis, mountain bikes, and hiking boots to explore everything the beautiful 150 acres of private property has to offer including Pristine Hansel Creek just outside the cabin door and the family-owned Mineshaft from the early 1900s that was hand dug by the owners great grandpa. During your vacation stay you might try your luck with the gold pan in Hansel Creek, Blewett Pass has a long history of gold prospecting (gold pans are provided). During the winter months, AWD or 4WD is very important, especially after large snow storms. The owners also have equipment on-site to assist if you get stuck. The property also has 2 other rental cabins nearby located upstream of Hansel Creek which share the bath/shower house and outdoor shower and can be combined for a total of 8 guests.

The cabin is located in Peshastin, Washington, United States nestled in the foothills of the Cascade mountains in Washington state, 15 minutes from the beautiful Bavarian village of Leavenworth with its year-round events. Hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, white water rafting, golf, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are all just minutes from your cabin door. Steven’s Pass and Mission Ridge ski areas are less than an hour away. Be prepared in the winter months from December to March. You’ll want to ask about current driveway conditions. 4-wheel drive, AWD, or chains are necessary on snowy days in Leavenworth, and to get to the cabin.
